Remembering Lucky Dube

Lucky Dube, South Africa’s biggest selling reggae artist was murdered exactly 1 year ago, he was shot during an attempted car jack in Johannesburg, South Africa. Dube recorded 22 albums during his 25 years as a reggae artist, his most recent albums title “Respect” was released in April of 2007, his music style can be compared to that of Bob Marley in which he spread love and the issues in Africa through his music, he received several awards throughout his career, to name a few: Best Selling African Recording Artist at the World Music Award. International Artist of the Year award at the Ghana Music Award. Dube was survived by his wife an seven children
